Becoming Plant-Based

Let’s face it, stepping away what you know as “traditional eating” can be a rather intimidating thought. Depending on where you live or how deep food traditions are embedded in your family, making the transition can leave you feeling alone and overwhelmed.

We at Willowbrook want to help people understand what whole-food plant-based living is AND help anyone who wants to transition away from the Standard American Diet (SAD) and migrate towards whole food, plant-based (WFPB) eating.

In order to help, we thought having a reference page may be something of value. It may be someone’s starting point of research – is this the lifestyle for you? It may be a guiding light to help those who feel alone find solace in knowing you aren’t alone – we just may not be in the same physical area.

Below are a series of lists. Each list supports transitioning to a WFPB lifestyle. The reason WFPB was selected because it has been determined to be the healthiest, most sustainable lifestyle for any human. If you have any suggestions on something to add OR have found a broken link, please let us know!
